Waxahatchee—real name Katie Crutchfield—is a singer-songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama.

Starting her music career in 2011 as a side-project to P.S. Eliot, she released her debut album, ‘American Weekend’, in 2012. She has since dropped a further five albums, including her latest, 2024's 'Tigers Blood', as well as a collaborative record with Plains and Jess Williamson in 2023.
