Nick Mason is a drummer from Birmingham, best known as a founding member of Pink Floyd.
He's co-written some of Pink Floyd's most popular compositions, such as Echoes and Time, as well as having put out a whopping 15 studio albums with them. He performed at the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony, as well as contributing to numerous charity singles over the years, and was presented with a BASCA Gold Badge Award in recognition of his unique contribution to music in 2012. In 2018, he formed a new band in the shape of Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets, which also includes legendary bass player Guy Pratt, Blockheads guitarist Lee Harris, Spandau Ballet's Gary Kemp on guitar and producer/composer Dom Beken on keys. What an excellent evening of wonderful music, with a great band. I love hearing the old songs played so well live. What a treat. We are all spoilt with David and Roger still touring, but to see Nick and the fans thoroughly enjoying themselves was a real treat. Well done guys, catch them live if you can.
