October Drift Post Video For Losing My Touch

Wednesday, 16 March 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

October Drift have posted a video for Losing My Touch.

The track is the lead single from their debut EP, 'Stranger Days', which is set for release on March 25 via Scruff Of The Neck Records. Discussing the video, guitarist Dan Young said:

“Tragic, misguided, but utterly charming. It’s about not being able to give up the dream of being in a successful band. Where you're still trying to make it in your 60’s, but always staying at the same level. I guess that's probably admirable, yet a little bit mad at the same time. To have that much commitment and belief in what you do, and to stick at it for that long with no success, yet with the delusion that it's still going to happen for you.”

October Drift will begin their UK tour at St Philip's Church in Manchester on March 18, following which they will make stops in Guildford, London, Oxford, Bath, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Hertford, Scunthorpe, Sheffield, Cardiff and Bristol. They will also appear at Sheffield's Tramlines festival in July.
