Mod Sun Posts Video For Flames Featuring Avril Lavigne

Monday, 25 January 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Mod Sun has unveiled a video for Flames.

The pop-punk power ballad features Avril Lavigne and was co-written by the pair with Goldfinger's John Feldmann, who also produced the track.

The clip shows the duo performing the song in a variety of dramatic environments, including a graveyard, a burned down house and a warehouse.

Following Bones and Karma, it's the third single to be shared from Mod Sun's upcoming Feldmann-produced album, due out on February 12 via Big Noise.

The record's title was revealed during the clip with eagle-eyed fans spotting a gravestone engraved with the words "Internet Killed The Rockstar". Mod Sun has since updated his Twitter name to the phrase.

Lavigne, meanwhile, dropped the single We Are Warriors in 2020, marking the Canadian singer-songwriter's first release since her 2019 LP 'Head Above Water'.
