Aly and AJ are a pop-rock duo made up of siblings Alyson and Amanda Michalka.
The duo first shot to fame when they began working with Disney in 2004, signing to their label Hollywood Records and Aly landing a role as Keely Teslow in Phil Of The Future all in that year. From there, the duo released their debut album 'Into The Rush' in 2005, going on to star in the Disney film Cow Belles together the following year. They went on to put out a Christmas album, before dropping 'Insomniatic' in 2007, which contained their platinum-selling single Potential Break-Up Song. They parted ways with Hollywood Records two years later, with both sisters going on to have successful acting careers. The duo returned with their new album, 'A Touch Of The Beat Gets You Up On Your Feet Gets You Out And Then Into The Sun', in 2021.
