Despite his current global success as a solo star, Brandon Flowers has revealed that he would like the Killers to get back together next year claiming that he is “missing” the band.
Currently stepping out alone while the Killers are on hiatus, Brandon Flowers spoke to the Metro and revealed that the Killers he wants his old band to get back together. "We don't have a date set but it will be next year. I miss them sometimes. We've shared a lot of experiences together. When the blows come its nice to have people there to share them with."
The former Killers frontman released his debut solo album earlier this week on September 6th following months of anticipation built upon the emergence of his first single 'Crossfire' in July. Hot on the heels of the album release comes Flowers' debut solo UK tour which will take in seven shows across the country in October.
Continuing to speak out about the absence of his normal band, Flowers said, "It was unusual. I tried to find the similarities. It's still making music and doing the best I can. The band can't be replaced; I worked with friends of mine who are great musicians on this. The producers were also all very capable musicians."
