Kyuss Lives! announced the UK leg of their world tour in 2011 last Friday. The response was phenomenal and in a matter of hours the London show on Saturday 2nd April 2011 has virtually sold out. Due to this unprecedented demand an extra show has been added on Sunday 3rd April 2011 with tickets onsale now.
Kyuss is a band that needs no introduction, producing some of the most celebrated, inspirational and influential music to come out of the Palm Desert scene. Kyuss’s four albums provided the blueprint for a generation. The landmark 1992 Kyuss album 'Blues for the Red Sun' typified the genre; is universally praised by both critics and fans; and is a staple in any discerning rock record collection. Kyuss’ legacy lives on with previous members having played with the likes of Queens Of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Fu Manchu, Brant Bjork and The Bros, The Dwarves, Mondo Generator, Slo Burn, Unida, Hermano and the legendary Desert Sessions….
Following the hugely successful and well received 2010 John Garcia Plays Kyuss tour, Garcia (vocals) along with original Kyuss members Nick Oliveri (bass) and Brant Bjork (drums) came together as Kyuss Lives! The bands lineup is completed by Bruno Fevery on guitar.

John Garcia – "You know, the whole reason I ever considered doing this with Brant and Nick was the feeling we all shared during Hellfest this year. To be able to play with such amazing musicians again is a dream come true for me. This will also be a huge chance for me to let everyone know about Garcia Vs Garcia which should be coming out Fall of next year."
