The Heartbreaks Announce Headline UK Tour & Ticket Details

After wowing crowds and garnering glowing reviews whilst touring with Carl Barat last month, The Heartbreaks announce a headline tour across the UK this December.
Already billed by Carl Barat as ‘the finest support band’ he’s ever had, The Heartbreaks bring their nostalgic, energetic guitar-fuelled pop back to the towns of the UK, commencing in Glasgow on 3rd December and culminating in Lancaster on 22nd.
The foursome, originally from Morecambe, formed just over a year ago in May 2009 having bonded over shared passions; Motown, bittersweet romance and the English seaside. All in their early 20s yet with older, more thoughtful heads on their young shoulders, they had the same dream to create a band that really meant something to people.
In only a year, The Heartbreaks have stolen hearts and set pulses racing with their determinedly romantic take on British pop culture. As well as recent One to Watch features in NME and Clash, last year they won the Manchester Evening News award for Best New Band and fans already include DJ Steve Lamacq, Edwyn Collins, Johnny Marr and of course, Carl Barat.
The band are currently working on their debut album and will release a new single early next year. The Heartbreaks are Matthew Whitehouse (vocals), Joseph Kondras (Drums), Ryan Wallace (Guitar) and Deaks (Bass).
