Reel Big Fish have revealed plans to play UK venues in 2011, announcing an eleven-date tour for February and March next year.
The Californian indie-rockers who have built up a cult following in the many years they have been going, and were experimenting with nu-metal and ska-punk long before Wheatus and Blink 182 were a twitch in their Daddy's guitar string. Superbly energetic and catchy melodies complemented by some driving guitar work. And their cover of 'Take On Me' is legendary.
A Reel Big Fish gig can guarantee you frenetic energy, crazy dancing, inspired covers and a world class horn. And not just the one horn, the entire horn section are horn legends. It might also give you a bit of an insight as to one of the places bands like Blink 182, Wheatus and No Doubt may have got some ideas from.
Reel Big Fish released a new studio album 'Fame Fortune and Fornication' on January 20, 2009 and it consists of 10 cover songs Another album, 'A Best of Us for the Rest of Us', featuring a 22-track disc of re-recorded songs and a 14-track disc of "Skacoustic" covers mixed by producer Eric Barker, was released earlier this year on July 20, 2010
