Iron and Wine - aka folk singer and songwriter Sam Beam - has announced that his new album 'Kiss Each Other Clean' is to be released on 24th January 2011. As previously reported by Stereoboard, the release of 'Kiss Each Other Clean' will precede a string of UK tour dates by the artist in March.
The new album is the fourth offering from Iron and Wine and follows his 2007 release 'The Shepherd's Dog', which received a great deal of positive response in the press. 'The Shepherd's Dog' included the track 'Flightless Bird, American Mouth', which was featured in the soundtrack of the hit film 'Twilight' starring Robert Pattinson. 'Kiss Each Other Clean' is Iron and Wine's first album to be released on Warner Bros.
The first single to be taken from the album 'Walking Far From Home' is to be released a week prior to the album on 17th January. See below to watch a video teaser of 'Kiss Each Other Clean'.
