Legendary three-chord maestros Status Quo have announced two open-air summer concerts.
Still rockin' all over the world 44 years on from their formation in 1967, Status Quo were born from Francis Rossi's early 1960's boogie-rock band The Spectres. Recruiting Rick Parfitt in the late 60s, Quo formed and went on to release over 50 hit singles and play thousands of sell-out shows around the world.
Status Quo have announced two shows for the summer, one at The Quarry in Shrewsbury and one at Alnwick Castle, Northumberland. Expect the usual long list of signiture songs, 'Rockin' All Over The World', 'Whatever You Want', 'What You're Proposin'', 'Down Down' and 'Pictures Of Matchstick Men'.
Status Quo will play the following UK shows:
Fri 15th July 2011 - The Quarry, Shrewsbury (£35.00)
Sat 20th August 2011 - Alnwick Castle, Northumberland (£35.00)
