American alt-rock-fusion mentalists Primus have announced their return to the UK. The three-piece will play Manchester Academy on July 12th and London’s O2 Academy Brixton the following day.
Famed for their funked up, far out and truly unique style, these shows will be warmly welcomed by Primus fans, who have not had a chance to see the band since they last played at Brixton, back in June of 1997.
Since then, the band have written the theme tune for popular animated TV show 'South Park', released two albums and undertaken several tours, but unable to take in the UK in that time.
Currently working on their first new album in 11 years - due this summer - the trio will return to the UK after a fourteen year abscence to deliver favourites like 'Jerry Was A Race Car Driver', 'My Name Is Mud', 'John The Fisherman' and 'Tommy The Cat' at their only UK shows of 2011.
12 JULY - MANCHESTER ACADEMY
13 JULY - LONDON O2 ACADEMY BRIXTON
