Lady Gaga has praised Adele during a recent interview, saying that she is “excited” by the London singer’s recent success.
Speaking to Greg James on BBC Radio 1, the ‘Born This Way’ singer said: "I love so many wonderful artists. I love Adele. I think Adele is wonderful and I'm so excited at the success she has had over the past couple of weeks with the Brits and everything. It's so wonderful."
Adele is currently dominating UK sales, topping both the singles and album charts. However, it would appear that the singer is not bowing to pressure to change her appearance as a way of accommodating success.
Speaking to Celebs On Sunday this weekend, the singer said: "No-one has ever told me to lose weight or anything like that. I don't rely on my tits to have hits. How I look has never been a big part of my life. I've never looked at a magazine and thought, 'that's how I need to look if I want to be successful in life'.
"If you compare the way I look to big artists like, say, Katy Perry, I'm living proof it's all about the music because there's nothing else I'm relying on to do well."
However, Adele did admit that she is evolving her style and becoming more experimental with her wardrobe. She said: "I'm trying to make more of an effort with my style. I'm a woman now. I like wearing three-quarter length dresses and things because I don't like having my thighs out, but I am trying new things."
