Detroit-born singer-songwriter Alex Winston has revealed a number of UK tour dates, which will take place in May. In addition to her own headlining dates, Alex will be performing sets at Brighton's Great Escape Festival and Futuresonic Festival in Manchester. In the same month, Alex will release her new single 'Sister Wife', which is taken from her recently-released mini album of the same name. The single is due out on 16th May.
As well as writing and singing every song on the ‘Sister Wife’ album, Alex is also a multi-instrumentalist and plays everything on the album. She has previously released an EP entitled ‘The Basement Covers’, which includes covers of songs by artists including the Rolling Stones, Jack Penate and Mumford & Sons. The new live dates follow her recent headlining performance at London's New Players Theatre, which took place as part of last month's NME Awards Shows.
