Feeder are releasing a single in recognition of the desperate suffering being experienced in Japan. The band have close ties to Japan and wanted to express their feelings and sympathy in the best way they could – namely through their music.
The band will donate all profits from ‘Side By Side’ to the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami appeal. This funds the ongoing relief effort to help the Japanese people over the coming weeks, months and years, as they recover from this devastating natural disaster.
Front man Grant Nicholas says, “Japan has always been very close to our hearts and through our music we want to help the people who have lost their families, homes and loved ones. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
Japanese Bassist, Taka Hirose says, “we have all seen the devastation in Japan. Lots of people are suffering from this horrific disaster. Nuclear radiation fear and aftershocks are still continuing. Can you please help the people in my country by supporting this single? They and I will be so grateful...”
