The Darkness Unveil November 2011 UK Tour Dates & Ticket Details

The Darkness are back on tour this November with a 16 date jaunt kicking off in Liverpool on November 8th, concluding with a London HMV Hammersmith Apollo show on November 25th. Tickets for The Darkness are onsale next Friday (June 17th).

In preparation for their sub-headline slot at this weekend's Download festival, the band played their first show in five years on Monday night. The show was the band's first performance since re-forming earlier this year.

They debuted a few tracks from the brand new album they’ve been working on including ‘Cannonball’ and ‘Concrete’, with guitarist Dan Hawkins saying."We were playing stuff at a million miles an hour today, it was pretty cool. More like a punk rock gig that we used to do ten years ago."

The band will perform second on the bill tonight (June 10th) supporting headliner Def Leppard at the Donington Park rock festival and while The Darkness' comeback has been derided in some quarters it has also been greatly anticipated by many and they’re sure to see a huge demand for their headline tour.
