Scroobius Pip will reveal material from his brand new solo project with a show at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen on August 18th.
With work on a new dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip album set to start in the new year, Pip has been working with a host of collaborators for a solo record and tour this autumn. The Hoxton show will be the first chance to sample Pip’s solo work, and check out a rather different live set up.

More details will follow soon, in the meantime here’s a few words from Pip…"I'm very very excited to be previewing the solo material, that I’vebeen working on for the first half of this year. This project (in between the second and third le sac vs Pip records) has seen me working with loads of really exciting people, putting together a new sound that combines the spoken word and hip hop influences that have always been present, with some harder, noisier influences from growing up listening primarily to punk and hardcore music.
“At this stage I can't reveal too much about the record other than that, it’ll be out in September and it will be released on my own label (Speech Development) and the promise that I will sneak you all some tasters before that time comes. See you in August!"
