After last weekend’s outburst at the Big Chill Festival, which saw the rapper compare himself to Hitler, Kanye West was at it again after claiming the media constantly ‘demonise’ him while on stage in Norway yesterday.
West, who was in the Scandinavian country to perform at the Oya Festival is Oslo, decided once again to waste the audience’s time by bursting into another crazed rant rather than bursting into song – keeping his fans waiting for a number of minutes before finally deciding to perform.
“It feels so good to come by here and rock y'all tonight,” he told his Norwegian fans. “We come to make sure you all have a good time because so many bad things have happened.
“I'm so thankful to have my voice back and I want to thank everyone. Watch The Throne is number one in 23 countries with no press or promotion.
“You know how I feel about the press. I hate the press. They try to take my shit out of context. They try to demonise me, but it don't matter because my fans are always here.”
Kanye was booed by a section of the crowd at the Big Chill Festival as he entered the stage late and began rambling about how he was treated in the same respect as Hitler by people in the music industry. The star blamed his loss of voice for the half an hour delay at the beginning of his show but was not shown any sympathy by the crowd, were later stunned by his comments.
