R&B and pop singer Jessie J has been storming the charts in recent months, and her single ‘Domino’ could be set to spend a second week at the top of the UK Singles charts – but it appears she’s more excited at the prospect of chopping off all of her hair.
The singer has offered to shave her head in an attempt to raise money for charity, but while most girls would be absolutely terrified at the idea, Jessie J can’t wait – and has been in talks with charities and officials to put the plan into action.
Jessie told Capital FM: “I'm having a meeting about it next week and talking about the charities I want to do it for and how we're going to do it. It's one of those things you say but a lot of planning has to go into it. But I'm excited; I'm excited to do something good for the world.”
She went on to talk about her inspiration for the idea, saying: “When I broke my foot I went round a lot of hospitals and met a lot of kids that inspired me more than anything else. The passion they have to carry on through times of illness. I need to use being someone that people know to do something good for the world.”
