Today sees the UK release of Gotye's new album 'Making Mirrors', the album that spawned 'Somebody That I Used To Know', a universal hit that has to date sold 1.7 million copies and topped the charts in nine different countries.
The music video that accompanies 'Somebody That I Used To Know' has racked-up over 70 million YouTube hits (currently averaging over a million hits a day) and has been selected for screening at the prestigious SXSW Festival in Austin this March.
The track, which recently topped the Triple J Hottest 100 list and garnered Gotye 5 ARIA Awards, has made an outstanding connection with people worldwide, making Gotye a genuine word of mouth phenomenon and one of the most exciting artists of this generation.
'Making Mirrors' has already sold nearly half a million copies worldwide.
