
Joan Armatrading, Seth Lakeman, Roy Harper, Billy Bragg and The Proclaimers have been confirmed for this year’s Cambridge Folk Festival. The 2012 event is to be held at Cherry Hinton Hall near Cambridge from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July. See below for the full line-up confirmed so far.
Cherry Hinton Hall is the setting for one of Europe’s most renowned folk festivals. The Cambridge event was first started in 1964, when it saw a line-up that included Paul Simon shortly after the release of his debut single ‘I Am A Rock’. In recent years, the festival has seen performances from Laura Marling, Frank Turner, Rumer and Seasick Steve.
