
BRIT nominated, London-based indie-rockers Guillemots have announced two intimate London shows for later this month.
The band will perform acoustic shows at the Village Underground on 30th and 31st March. Expect a set of mixed old and new material, as well as spoken-word segments from songwriter Robyn Hitchcock, cellist Oliver Coates, poets John Hegley and Luke Wright, singer Mary Epworth and percussionist Joby Burgess, artists all hand-picked by Guillemots.
Speaking about the special shows, Guillemots frontman Fyfe Dangerfield revealed: "This is something we've wanted to do for ages. Village Underground's the perfect place to do it, the room just has an aura to it as soon as you walk in. I love the idea of gigs like this where there's nothing to hide behind. It's that bit more personal and dynamic for everyone."
