Scottish folk-rockers Runrig have confirmed dates for their November 2012 'Rewired' tour. Tickets for Runrig are onsale this Friday at 9am.
Runrig have had over 30 years of success in many countries around the world. Their totally unique sound created from the blend of traditional Gaelic folk music and contemporary rock has turned the Scottish six-piece into megastars.
Most of the material is written by brothers Calum and Rory MacDonald, who were brought up in the Western Isles of Scotland. Half of the band are actual Gaelic speakers, and the group has been known to perform some haunting songs in their native tongue.
After the end of their 2010 tour Runrig collectively made the decision to take a year off, allowing band members to focus on individual side projects. Still as popular as ever, Runrig will re-unite as a six-piece again for this Summer's 'Rewired' tour.

Nov 20th - Guildford G Live, Tuesday
Nov 21st - Ipswich Regent Theatre
Nov 22nd - Wolverhampton Civic Hall
Nov 23rd - Manchester O2 Apollo Theatre
