Lynx Lines Up 'Dive Deep In'/'Shadowlands' Release - Listen Now

The original disco dodo himself Lynx has returned with yet another new single, the first of a couple of festive gifts he’ll be dropping before the end of the year.
The first of the two-sided release is ‘Dive Deep In’, which is yet another head-nod-inducing piece halftime business, with his partner in crime Kemo once again featuring vocals on his track. As razor sharp as ever, the new tune is instantly recognisable as one of Lynx’s and is as clean in sound as it is dirty in nature.
Although halftime, the percussive pattern makes the ‘Dive Deep In’ a rolling feel, and the pounding kick and clap snare may even be a nod towards the Trap music scene which is currently unfolding in the underground. Kemo’s lyrics and mesmerising tone alongside an echoed citar line and faint, Super Mario-esque bleeps give the this tune quite the trippy atmosphere.
Bumping from 85bpm back to 170, Lynx teams up with fellow producer Hellrazor to give us a inquisitive, shuffle-y, jungle roller. A low melodic bassline lies under the running drums in 'Shadowlands', and a moody section of strings and synths completes an equally as dreamy alternative to the A-side.
Set for a December 3rd release via Warm Communications, the tracks will be available on 12” vinyl or as a digital download. For now, you can check them out embedded below.
