The legendary Black Sabbath have officially announced the title of their new studio album. Recorded in LA with producer Rick Rubin, '13' is set for release in June via Vertigo.
The news of '13' follows a horrendous year that saw the band endure the shocking revelation that guitarist Tony Iommi had been diagnosed with cancer. Despite the news, Sabbath went on to perform a hugely successful homecoming show at Birmingham's O2 Academy, as well as headlining last year's Download Festival.
Following the departure of original band drummer Bill Ward, Rage Against The Machine drummer Brad Wilk joins the remaining original Sabbath members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler for the recording sessions of '13'.
