Sebadoh have announced details of their forthcoming new album, as well as two UK live shows.
News of the new album sprung up on the trio's official website earlier this week.
"Our new album is here! Defend Yourself won’t be in stores until Sept 17, but you can now pre-order the album from our labels Joyful Noise and Domino. Pictured above and below is the crazy limited versions of the album released by Joyful Noise. The album is available on Tri-Colored Red / Yellow / Blue vinyl, Red vinyl, Black vinyl, CD, Cassette, & Digital.

Ending a substantial hiatus for the band, 'Defend Yourself' is more of an organic reformation than a comeback album. In the words of Lou Barlow: “We were always going to make another record. There was never any point where we looked at each other and said, ‘That’s it. We’re done.’ We never actually quit at all - we’ve been making music this whole time."
Catch Sebadoh supporting the release of the album with two UK shows in October. The trio will visit Manchester Academy3 on October 15 and London's Scala on October 16.
