Legendary Japanese rock guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei has confirmed plans for his upcoming international tour this November. Hotei will play three exclusive shows in total: November 3 at The Lido Berlin, November 9 at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, and November 14 at Highline Ballroom in New York.
The November 9 show at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire will be Hotei’s second show in London following a performance in the capital last December, and plans include an extensive state-of-the-art visual presentation.
In all shows, Hotei will perform songs from his extensive catalogue including the acclaimed Kill Bill theme song Battle Without Honor or Humanity.
He will be joined by drummer Zachary Alford, who played on David Bowie’s latest album, 'The Next Day', and the well known New York-based British bassist, Tony Grey. For the London show, Toshiyuki Kishi (keyboard/ programming) and Steve Eto (percussion) will also join the band.
