Bombay Bicycle Club have unveiled dates for an extensive UK headline tour in March 2014.
The band recently announced details of their fourth album in five years, as well as the record's first single Carry Me, which is available to download now. The album was produced by vocalist Jack Steadman in the band’s studio in London, making it their most personal record to date. Guitarist Jamie MacColl said:
"The whole creation process was a really honest one. Jack’s not afraid of us saying a part or lyric doesn’t work so we were able to all be very involved at every level."
The band are looking to break exciting new ground with the album, working alongside award-winning creative company Powster to deliver a world first interactive music video. Check it out here. Speaking about the new shows, the band said:
"With the album coming out February 3 we thought we should organise some gigs to play these new songs. It’s been too long since we played headline shows in the UK so we’re looking forward to these shows in March 2014."
The new tour will kick off at Leeds O2 Academy on March 2 before rolling through most major UK cities, concluding at Manchester Albert Hall on March 20. The tour follows a string of Irish shows the band have scheduled for later this month.
