Madness release their new ‘Madstock!’ CD and DVD package on October 9 and Stereoboard have two copies to giveaway to the winners of our new competition.
Available on Salvo Sound & Vision for the first time in one complete package, ‘Madstock!’ features the original Madstock 1992 film on DVD and the CD concert soundtrack along with four bonus tracks, one of which, Razor Blade Alley, has never been released on CD. Also included in the package are previously unseen photographs and liner notes featuring new interviews with Chas Smash, Woody, Chrissy Boy and Mike Barson.
'Madstock!' captures the massive Madness reunion show in 1992, six years after the band split in 1986, marking the first public appearance by all seven “nutty boys” and drawing 72,000 fans across two concerts at Finsbury Park in London. Madstock went on to become a biennial event held again in 1994, 1996, and 1998 with a fifth ‘Madstock’ concert held in 2009 to celebrates the band’s 30th anniversary.

More recently, the legendary ska troupe wind up their current run of open-air shows with performances at Wolverhampton Racecourse this Friday and Durham Country Cricket Club the following day.
