Downton Abbey will return in musical form next summer.
The concert will take place on June 22 at Highclere Castle, which served as the stately home featured in the television period drama. Music from the series will be performed by the Chamber Orchestra of London, with Downton composer John Lunn on piano.
The evening will be hosted by actor Jim Carter in character as Mr. Carson and will feature the famous theme tune as well as other favourites, including performances of If You Were The Only Girl In The World and I’ll Count The Days. Tickets are on sale at 9am on December 14.
The concert will precede the show's big screen adaptation, with the film set to open next September, reuniting most of the original cast members.
