Drahla Announce Debut Album 'Useless Coordinates' And Accompanying UK Tour

Drahla have announced their debut album.
‘Useless Coordinates’ is due for release on May 3 via captured Tracks, and comes accompanied by a UK tour. As well as a date at their hometown’s Brudenell Social Club, the Leeds-based band will hit up Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Cardiff, Leicester, London, Brighton, Oxford and Guildford throughout May. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £8.00 plus fees.
Recorded in Yorkshire, the album sees the punk come art-rock band evolve with the addition of saxophonist Chris Duffin. Its second cut, Stimulus For Living, follows up the August release of Twelve Divisions Of The Day, and is a suitably agitated post-punk track, full of angsty guitar lines.
The band described the new single’s accompanying video, which begins with an interview, as “a visual composition that reflects the lyric content of the track", and "based upon abstracted ideas and thought, challenging standardised format and perception.”
