Rihanna has confirmed plans to release a "visual autobiography".
The self-titled book features 504 pages of over 1000 coloured photographs documenting the pop star's life, some of which have never before been released. A statement on the project's website reads:
"From her childhood in Barbados to her worldwide tours, from quintessential fashion moments to private time with friends and family, the book showcases intimate photographs of her life as a musician, performer, designer, and entrepreneur."
Rihanna added:
"I am so excited to share this collection of incredible images. I’m very grateful to the talented photographers and artists who contributed. We’ve been working on the book for over five years and I’m really happy to able to finally share it with everybody."
Various editions of the book will be available from October 10.
Rihanna's last album, meanwhile, was 2016's 'Anti'. She also appeared on N.E.R.D's single Lemon the following year.
