The longlist for the BBC’s Sound of 2020 prize has been revealed.
Looking to succeed Octavian, who took the gong for 2019, are Arlo Parks, Celeste, Beabadoobee, Easy Life, Georgia, Inhaler, Joesef, Joy Crookes, Squid and Yungblud.
The top five will be announced in January on BBC Radio 1 and BBC News, with an artist revealed each day from January 5. They will be voted for by 160 music critics, broadcasters and DJs, as well as former nominees
The winner will be announced on January 9.
