Disclosure Drop New Track Ecstasy

Tuesday, 25 February 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Disclosure are back with a new single, Ecstasy.

The vibrant dance track samples Fantasy by Aquarium Dream and fully leans into its '70s disco influences, while also keeping a foot firmly in the contemporary sphere with dynamic beats and an eclectic electronic soundscape.

The song follows up Know Your Worth, their collaboration with Khalid which arrived in early February. The duo's last album, meanwhile, was 2015's 'Caracal'. Introducing Ecstasy online, they said:

"This song came into existence early 2019 during a writing session at Guy’s house in London. We were curiously chopping up samples from various 70s disco and soul records when suddenly, Fantasy by Aquarium Dream gave us the exact thing we were searching for. This song is made entirely to get a human being to their feet and directly to the dance floor.
And there's more..."

Disclosure are set to premiere another new track tonight (February 25). Tondo will get its first play on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show at 8pm GMT.

Disclosure will next play the UK when headlining London's Lovebox Festival in June.

Disclosure Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat June 13 2020 - LONDON Gunnersbury Park
