Michael Stipe has shared a new demo.
The R.E.M. frontman revealed the unfinished No Time for Love Like Now via YouTube, describing it in the post's captions as the first take of a demo version. He also shared that the track is a collaboration with the National's Aaron Dessner.
The clip sees Stipe singing mournful lyrics over a light, sweeping synth-driven beat coming from his laptop speakers. It marks his third solo song in recent months, following Your Capricious Soul and Drive To The Ocean.
R.E.M. marked the 25th anniversary of 'Monster' with a deluxe reissue last November.
