The Streets and Tame Impala have teamed up for a new single.
Call My Phone Thinking I'm Doing Nothing Better was premiered by Annie Mac as her Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, and is set to feature on the Streets’ new mixtape ‘None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive’.
The track is precisely what you might expect a tie up between the Streets and Tame Impala to sound like, with Kevin Parker’s woozy hook snaking between Mike Skinner’s lacerating spoken word.
Skinner describes the tape, which is out on July 10, as a “rap duets album”, with further contributions coming from Idles, Hak Baker, Ms. Banks and more.
