GUM, aka Jay Watson, is set to release a new album this summer.
‘Out In The World’ will arrive on June 12 via Spinning Top Records and will feature its previously released lead single of the same name, as well as the newly shared knotty guitar number Don’t Let It Go Out. Give the track a spin below, and check out the record’s artwork and tracklist. Watson said:
“This album is my attempt at making a record that combines my fascination of how other people live their lives, with my own internal desire to analyse mine and improve it. ‘Out In The World’ was a phrase that conjured a lot of grandeur and ego, yet somehow felt really small and wholesome at the same time.”
The new LP marks the Tame Impala multi-instrumentalist's fifth solo release, following the vibrant, psych-rock flecked ‘The Underdog’, which hit shelves in 2018.
'Out In The World' tracklist:
Weightless in L.A
Airwalkin’
Out In The World
The Thrill Of Doing It Right
Many Tears To Cry
Alphabet Soup
Don’t Let It Go Out
Down The Dream

You Make Your Own Luck
