The highly anticipated ‘KiCk i’ is slated to arrive later this year, with expected features from alt-pop stars Rosalía and Björk.
In conjunction with the news, the Venezeulan multi-instrumentalist has dropped the forthcoming album’s lead single, the bass-heavy, electro-industrial Nonbinary. It arrives with a futuristic, Frederick Heyman-directed video that sees Arca draw inspiration from Sandro Botticelli’s 1480 painting, Birth of Venus, as she rises into an opened shell, surrounded by bursts of flames. Check it out below.
The new album will follow Arca's 2017 self-titled effort, though an official release date is yet to be confirmed.
