I Finally Understand is the latest cut to be lifted from her new album, ‘How I’m Feeling Now’, following Claws and Forever. The record is due out on May 15, and is currently being created by the pop singer and songwriter while in isolation due to the coronavirus — with the help of some producer friends. Charli is also collaborating with others for artwork to accompany the album and its singles.
Head below to spin the new song, a thudding synth-pop number that deals in processed vocals and crunching beats. It boasts production by Palmistry, with additional production from A. G. Cook and Mechatok.
Charli XCX was set to support the 1975 at London's Finsbury Park in July, but the show was recently cancelled due to COVID-19.
