Disclosure have dropped a new track featuring Aminé and slowthai.
My High is the second cut — following the title track —to be lifted from their new album, 'Energy', due out on August 28. The new song deals in bass-heavy, rave-ready beats, while both rappers deliver slick, fast-paced bars. Disclosure said:
“We always wanted to work with rappers, we just didn’t know any and we had no means of contacting them… there’s not a lot of rappers in Reigate.
“Writing My High with Amine was a lot a fun, he’s hilarious and may as well be a comedian. He writes so quickly and it’s amazing to watch. He brought so much energy to this already very energetic tune that when we got home to London in January there was only one guy capable of matching it… slowthai.”
The follow-up to 2015's 'Caracal' boasts appearances by Khelis, Kehlani, Syd, Common, Channel Tre, Mick Jenkins and more. Head below for the tracklist, as well as the My High artwork and video, with the latter shot in Mexico City and Los Angeles prior to the coronavirus lockdown.
