Black Honey have dropped a new single.
Beaches marks the first new offering from the Brighton group since their self-titled debut album, which landed in September 2018. The toe-tapping indie pop track packs in hooks by the dozen, pairing looping guitar leads with bright horn-parps. It arrives with a lo-fi video directed by the band's lead vocalist, Izzy B. Phillips. Check it out below.
Phillips said: "Beaches is cheeky twisted collage of all things weird, set to a playground clapping song. It’s all eye rolls, punk gigs and girls in polka dot bikinis. A nonsense filled retro world I wanna disappear into at times like these.”
It is yet to be confirmed whether Beaches will feature on a future Black Honey project.
