New Order have announced a "definitive edition" of 'Power, Corruption and Lies'.

The collection includes a remastered version of the 1983 album  — recorded to tape in 1982 at Britannia Row Studios in London, an extras CD featuring previously unreleased writing sessions from the band's Manchester rehearsal rooms and their 1982 John Peel Session, two DVDs including live footage of the band at the Hacienda and Kilkenny in the early '80s, as well as the the 1984 Play at Home Channel 4 TV documentary and other rare live clips and television performances.

Completing the limited edition box set designed by Peter Saville is a 48-page hardback book of rare photos and original text that were collated by Warren Jackson.

The collection, out October 2, will also be accompanied by standalone releases of the four 12” singles from '83 and '84 that didn’t feature on the original album: Blue Monday, Confusion, Thieves Like Us and Murder.
