Dire Straits have announced a new box set.
Out on October 9 via UMC/Virgin, 'The Studio Albums 1978 - 1991' will be spread across six CDs containing all of the band's studio albums: 1978's 'Dire Straits', 1979's 'Communiqué', 1980's 'Making Movies', 'Love Over Gold' from 1982, 1985's 'Brothers In Arms' and 1991's 'On Every Street'.
The discs will be presented in a slick clamshell box and packaged in mini-vinyl style cardboard wallets. There'll also be posters and reproductions of the original artwork from each record, including lyrics and credits.
On the same date, UMC/Virgin will also drop a repressing of the 2013 eight-LP vinyl box set 'Dire Straits - The Studio Albums 1978-1991'.
