The peppy pop song is the title track from her new LP, which is out on August 28. In director Mathew Miguel Cullen’s video Perry dons clown make up and turns gamer to guide an animated version of herself through a series of circus-themed challenges. Check it out below.
“I wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile,” Perry recently said in a statement. “This whole album is my journey towards the light—with stories of resilience, hope, and love.”
