The predictably savage new track rallies against social injustice and serves as the first single off the Grammy-nominated band's imminent 'Wrong Generation' EP.
The eight-track release is out on October 23 via Roadrunner Records and was written two weeks after the 13 days vocalist Jason Aalon Butler spent on the streets of Los Angeles protesting the murder of George Floyd in June. Expanding on the song, he said:
"Everything in this song was what I'd seen during those 13 days and what I felt needed to happen. I saw buildings burn. I saw fights. I saw white allies stepping in front of the National Guard, because they knew they had a power those black bodies behind them did not. What did you expect? When you put any creature in a corner for so long and show them how quickly life can be taken from them, I don’t know what other option there is but fighting back."
The trio previously revealed plans for their first livestream tour, which will comprise of six shows, each broadcasting live to specific time zones. The run kicks off with a London and European performance at 8pm BST on the EP's launch date. Head here for additional sets and ticket details.
