Taylor Swift has shared details of a new documentary.
Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions was directed by Swift and will drop onto the streaming platform Disney+ tomorrow (November 25).
As the title suggests, the film documents the creation of the superstar's 'Folklore' album, which arrived in July after its creation during the COVID-19 lockdown period. It captures Swift discussing the record with its collaborators Jack Antonoff and the National guitarist Aaron Dessner, owner of Long Pond Studio in New York. There's also a special appearance from Bon Iver. Head below to view the trailer.
"It’s an album that allows you to feel your feelings, and it’s a product of isolation," Swift said of 'Folklore' in the clip. Talking with Dessner, she added, "This could’ve been a time where I absolutely lost my mind, and instead, I think this album was a real flotation device for both of us."
The superstar broke the news earlier today (November 24) with a Twitter post, revealing: "You haven’t seen this film before. folklore: the long pond studio sessions will be out tonight at midnight PST on Disney+."
Earlier in 2020, Swift cancelled her huge London show as part of this year's BST Hyde Park series due to the pandemic, as well as the rest of her Lover Fest Tour, which included festival appearances across Europe and North America.
