KISS Postpone US Tour Dates After Band Members Test Positive For COVID-19

KISS have postponed a handful of tour dates.
The legendary rock band are currently on the road for the North American leg of their farewell End Of The Road World Tour, though their next four shows have been put on hold after band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley tested positive for COVID-19. In a statement shared on social media, the group said:
"KISS will postpone their next few tour dates. While Paul Stanley recently tweeted that he had recovered from COVID-19, Gene Simmons has now tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms.
"The band and crew will remain at home and isolate for the next ten days and doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on 9th September."
The four postponed gigs — today (September 1) in Clarkston, Michigan, September 2 in Dayton, Ohio, September 4 in Tinley Park, Illinois, and September 5 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin — are expected to be rescheduled in due course, though an updated itinerary is currently unavailable.
The European leg of the trek is set to take place in summer 2022, when they'll also headline the UK's Download Festival.
In August, KISS shared details of their final Las Vegas residency, which will see them take over Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's Zappos Theater for 12 shows starting on December 29.
