Muna are back with a new single.
Silk Chiffon marks the Los Angeles trio's first new music in over a year, and their first tune since signing to Phoebe Bridgers' Saddest Factory label earlier in 2021. Their new label boss also features on the song.
Soothing vocal harmonies sail over a bright and sunny groove on the new number, which taps into the group's poppier aesthetic of their sound. According to producer and guitarist Naomi McPherson, the release is, "a song for kids to have their first gay kiss to."
Muna put out their debut album, 'About U', in 2017. They'll kick off a North American tour today (September 8) supporting Bridgers. Following that, they'll open for Kacey Musgraves on her 2022 US dates.
