Even more acts have joined the line-up for Slam Dunk 2022.
The recent additions include Beartooth, Counterparts, 3OH!3, Set It Off, Nova Twins, With Confidence, Magnolia Park, and Lil Lotus. Beartooth said:
"We’re beyond excited to return to Slam Dunk. It’s a killer festival with killer bands and it’s an honor to be a part of the line-up. Like a lot of bands, it’s been years since we’ve been able to play in the UK. I promise we’re gonna do everything in our power to kick major ass. See ya there!”
The pop-punk and alternative rock festival will return to Temple Newsam Park in Leeds and Hatfield Park in Hertfordshire, moving from the usual late May bank holiday to new dates in June to align with the Queen's Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend.
What? A one-day, two-site festival with a line-up boasting some of the best known names in pop-punk and rock.
Where? Temple Newsam Park in Leeds and Hatfield Park in Hertfordshire.
When? Temple Newsam on June 3 and Hatfield Park on June 4.
Who? New to the bill are Beartooth, Counterparts, 3OH!3, Set It Off, Nova Twins, With Confidence, Magnolia Park, and Lil Lotus.
They join the previously announced headliners Alexisonfire, Sum 41, The Dropkick Murphys and Neck Deep, while also set to perform across the weekend are The Wonder Years, Hot Milk, Meet Me @ The Altar, The Story So Far, The Amity Affliction, Hot Water Music, The Vandals, Silverstein, Dream State, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, Spanish Love Songs, The Flatliners, Pennywise The Interrupters, Deaf Havana, Knuckle Puck, KennyHoopla, Eskimo Callboy, Hot Mulligan, Yours Truly, Mod Sun, Pinkshift, Beauty School, Cancer Bats, The Bronx, The Summer Set, Point North, Mom Jeans, and As December Falls.
Bands that were confirmed to play but have since pulled out — for different reasons — include Motion City Soundtrack, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Dream State, Spanish Love Songs, and most recently, The Used. Check out a full statement from the latter below.
We are sad to confirm that The Used will not be performing at #SDF22
Losing another band so close to the event is as devastating for us as it is for you & we know it will come with disappointment however we are dedicated to pushing forward & making this weekend one to remember. https://t.co/bk9bYEPG8a
