The Who Announce 2022 North American The Who Hits Back Tour

The Who have announced a two-part North American tour.
The Who Hits Back Tour will initially run between April 22 and May 28, before returning in the fall for another round of dates between October 2 and November 5. The trek comes two years after the legendary band's Moving On! Tour. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on February 11. Singer Roger Daltrey said:
"Pete and I said we’d be back, but we didn't think we'd have to wait for two years for the privilege. This is making the chance to perform feel even more special this time around. So many livelihoods have been impacted due to Covid, so we are thrilled to get everyone back together - the band, the crew and the fans. We’re gearing up for a great show that hits back in the only way The Who know how. By giving it everything we got."
Prior to the trek, they'll top the bill at this year's New Orleans Jazz Fest, joining fellow headliners Foo Fighters, Stevie Nicks, and Willie Nelson.
The iconic band's last LP came in the form of 'WHO', released in 2019, marking their first studio album in 13 years.
